Why Does Susie Need Our Help?
Susie B is a wonderful fine art model and a good friend. Recently Susie was in a horse riding accident that landed her in a hospital for a couple weeks. Her medical bills continue to mount and there is much that her health insurance does not cover. Currently she is tethered to a intravenous feed of antibiotics that costs hundreds of dollars per week to maintain. Also, the hysteria over “swine flu”, has prevented her from returning to work as a nurse. Without a positive cash flow, Susie faces many challenges just to make ends meet.

How Did These Images Come About?
During a recent trip to Albuquerque, NM, I had a unique opportunity to work with Susie at her request. The session resulted in unique images that really reflect a great deal of introspection and reflection on where she is in her life. I was touched deeply and emotionally that Susie asked me to photograph her and we’ve talked about how proud she is of these images. Some people have approached me privately about doing this print sale to benefit Susie and I have discussed and approvied this idea with Susie.
How Can I Help?
Purchase a print. I am giving as much as i can of the proceeds from these prints directly to Susie. The wet transfer prints are really wonderful and some of the most beautiful prints I’m making right now. I am truly trying to balance making these prints as affordable as I can and still maximize the amount we can give back to Susie. If you purchase a print, you’ll have something wonderful to have and hold, and you’ll have that wonderful feeling of having helped a friend in need.

How the Sale Works
Wet Transfer Prints
These prints are made using a unique process that produces a unique print each time. The irregular edges and imperfections are part of the transfer process. The the transfers are all done onto Arches 88, a beautiful archival art paper. The process of making the prints is very labor intensive, but a true joy to behold. Only 12 prints will be made and they will be signed by me and numbered. Additionally, a print numbered 0/12 will be made and sent to Susie. Prints are roughly 16x10 inches, printed on paper that’s about 17x12 inches.
$135 of each print sale will go directly to Susie B. The remaining $40 will cover my cost for materials, ink, and paypal fees.
Giclée Prints
These prints will all be made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, each one will be signed by me (these prints are not numbered or limited in quantity). I chose to offer these prints for those who still want to help at a more affordable price point. Prints will be from the original digital file with straight, square edges. Prints are 16x10 inches on standard 13x19 inch sheets.
$55 from each of these print sales will go directly to Susie B. The remaining $30 will cover my costs for materials, ink, and paypal fees.
